Late night at work

I worked later than normal tonight to try to get my final major task done on the prices upload tool. They wanted a status button on it, to show whether the price upload actually was posted to the server. I have one that says it worked and the server accepted the post, but nothing that said whether it really updated the database or not.

So I had to figure out how to get it from them. Then I had to figure out how to store it in the database. Then I had to decide how to get it out of the database and display it on the page. I wanted to get it done early so I could go to Colfax early on Friday and not work on the tool.

I stayed until after eight PM getting the work done on it. I finally got it working on my box and moved the files over to the source control server so it could create a build to be put onto the test server.

I spent some time chatting online when I got home before getting to bed. I wanted to get to work early to get everything tested and going, so I could get out of there by about one PM.
