Almost Done Moving.

Yesterday morning started out early for me, as it should have been a day off. I got up and started to get more moving taken care of. I had a few friends coming over to help out. Dan C. was coming over to help me get a few heavy objects out, and then we loaded the U-Haul I rented with my couch, loveseat, and coffee table, plus boxes of stuff and computer stuff. We stopped by the Lobo Computer Services to drop off the computer stuff. We then headed to Colfax from Pullman, which is about a 15-mile trip. When we got to my house Dan asked me if I opened the back door to the U-Haul. I said that I had not. I asked if it was open. He said yes. I asked if he was serious, and he said yes. I got out of the U-Haul and it was wide open. I saw that most everything was still in there. A box and a drawer had fallen out. I got on my 4 wheeler and drove to the end of my driveway, and sure enough that is where my items were. I picked them up and brought them back to the house. We unloaded the rest of the items. Then we loaded all the construction debris from the remodel of the bathroom and electrical wiring. We went to the dump and dropped off 1600 pounds of stuff. Then back to Pullman to load some more stuff. Russell came over to help, and Dan had to leave. Following that Dan U showed up to help. We got the rest of the stuff in the U-Haul and got it to my house. We left and headed back to Pullman to go to My Office Bar and have a few cold ones. Russell and I then walked to Ryan’s apartment and hung out there for a tiny bit and finished the night with a short 8 mile trip to Moscow for a Jack in the Box run.
