One day until Seattle!

Thursday like another day started out with me waking up late. I swear it is not good that I do that all the time. I start work late, so I end up having to work later into the evening. It sucks because I could have gotten off on time and went to work at the jail early and make extra money. It cost me $30.00 to sleep in. I suppose if I look at the opportunity cost of the extra sleep in the morning I would work harder to get up. I did my normal stuff. Sometimes I hate the fact that I am not really learning anything new. I am coming upon new problems at times, but I am not really becoming a better person. My brother talked about all the jobs he has had, and the only one he was really unhappy at was the one where he made no gain in knowledge. I feel that way here sometimes. Finally I was out of here and on my way to my house to change into my jail uniform to work there. It was highly uneventful. The time oozed. At the end of the shift we held a hearing on an inmate who had been messing around with an electrical outlet. He claimed to be washing it with one sheet of toilet paper and toothpaste. For some reason we did not believe him. It is a sad day when you can't trust a criminal. Due to the hearing I worked an extra hour and a half. I chose to head home and go to bed as tomorrow was the day Russell and I head to Seattle.
