Second coroner call

I got up Monday morning and headed into work. I was going to have to go to class and fire training this evening. I got a hold of Sampson. He showed up about two in the afternoon. He called and said he thought I may have a collapsed pipe. I went to the house. While I was there it seemed that all of a sudden when he put down a locater, that the pipe started to let water flow. We tested the toilet many times without fail. It appeared that all was good. Sampson was not sure that it was fixed but for now it seems to work.

I headed off to class to turn in my homework. While sitting next to this guy I was asking him what he got for the answer of a problem. He pulled his homework out and it looked nothing like mine. Then I realized that I did the wrong problems. I did the exercises instead of the problems. I talked to the teacher and she said since I did the homework, she would accept them. She said to make sure I do it correctly in the future.

For fire training we were going our CPR recertification’s. John was teaching that. After class Doug and I were talking about the fittings for my gas dryer. I finally got what I needed. While talking about it they got a call for a possible unattended death. So, District twelve and Pullman Fire both left to go to it. I headed back to Colfax and called Pete to let him know. I told him I am available.

I got back to Colfax and got clothes ready incase I was going to go on the call. About twenty minutes later Pete called and said he would pick me up about forty minute later. I spent the time getting the bathroom cleaned and disinfected. I went to the end of my drive way and Pete was there within minutes. I ate my dinner quickly and away we went. We got on scene and Lester and Rick were on scene. They hung out until the funeral home arrived. We studied the body and the house. Got evidence and then headed to the funeral home to do another exam of the body. We took more pictures and then headed to Colfax. We went to the Sheriff's Office and went through my bag. He said it does appear like I have everything I need. He gave me a ride home and I was off to bed.
