The Butterfly Effect

I am down on myself for not going in and doing some sort of work out. I need to get into the situation where I will hate myself for not working out. When I got to work I finished off my last bug. A few minutes later I checked and there were six new bugs. AARGH!!!

I started to get a few of them underway and then I met Jon and Jim at Three Pig BBQ for lunch. We ate and talked about office politics.

I went back to work and started to get some of the bugs taken care of. I also talked to a different Jim about taking a trip to Florida for a trade show on the same weekend that I would be going down for the short bus trip.

At home I decided to watch the Butterfly Effect. It is a movie I have seen already and wrote about in my blog. It is a movie about a guy who figures out how to change an event in the past. Each time he changes something his life gets changed as well as those of the people around him. Sometimes it seems good then goes bad. Sometimes it is bad and gets worse. Finally he gets it more or less okay, but not perfect. He decided to leave it as it is and burn his movies and notes so he could not change it again.

His friend questioned him doing that. He said I don't need those things, he knows who he is and he doesn't need those as a reminder.
