One day late
Tuesday morning Brandon and I head to Spokane to get the partitions. It was nice to spend half the day driving to and from Spokane. When we got back we had inmates unload all of them. It was just Brandon and I who loaded them. As work was coming to an end, Mom and I were talking online when I got a call from Pete, the County Coroner. He said there are two cases at once and he needs me to go and handle one of them. I had to go to Pullman.
I got to the scene of a seventy-five year old lady who was discovered dead in her retirement community apartment. What surprised me was there was a memo in the elevator from the complex stating that she had died. They are quick. I am the one who pronounces her dead, yet, there was a sign posted saying she was dead. I spent time investigating the body, and the nature of the death. Looked at the injuries present. I was able to see that it was a natural death and the injuries where there due to a fall from the standing position. Pete met up with me and we went over the findings. He agreed with me.
I cleared the funeral home and went home. I still have to get the report written, print the pictures, and made a CD with all the pictures as well. This was my third call in as many weeks, expect for the other ones were on a Monday night. This one was Tuesday. One day late.
