Vehicle Maintenance

I slept in a little bit today. That was very nice to do. Then I let Amber outside and watched a little bit of football. I thought I would get ambitious and move stuff from my spare room to allow me to set up my bedroom and get stuff going on the house. About half way through it a Colfax call came out. I went to the station and missed getting on the Ambulance. So I manned the station.

I headed home and then to Pullman to be on call. I went to the station and ate dinner first off. Then I started maintenance on the vehicles before anyone else got there, I did about half of the Rescue myself. Michael said he was disappointed that I was still leaving. He thought that things had been smoothed over in our conversation. After maintenance we did a one minute drill where you put on the SCBA, helmet, gloves, mask, and hood in under one minute. I did a personal best forty-five seconds. I hung out at the station until about ten thirty pm. I went to my office and set up Premiere Six on my computer. I was working on the movie that I was trying to get going yesterday.

I got a lot farther with it. Then a call came out of carbon monoxide in a house. I went up on Rescue and sat around for more than two hours doing nothing. After the call, I got back cleaned off the rig, got one last thing done on the movie I am making and then headed to bed. It was after three o'clock am.
