Out of the dog house

Since I did not have to work this morning I slept in again. Actually I only got about seven hours of sleep, but I did get out of bed at one pm. I went to bed at five o'clock am, however.

I Got lunch, and then started in on building my deck railing. I need to get it done for the insurance company. They said they are going to drop my over it. So, I am getting it done finally. It was not all that easy with the tools that I have and the lack of extra hands. Actually I should have used my saw horses I have. I did not even think about it at the time.

Dan was on his way over to help with the dog house and he got to my place just as I was finishing the railing. It worked out pretty well. We started in on the dog house. We made a few measurements of Amber and got started. It took until almost five thirty to build it. We started at about 3 pm. So that was not too bad. We used some old two by fours that Dan had given to me. They worked out great. Plus I had some plywood that I used. It is about ninety-five percent done. I still have to put some indoor/outdoor carpet on the roof so she can lay on the roof. I am going to put some of the carpet to use as a door as well.

When Dan left I went in and cleaned up. I vegetated in front of the TV watching the Simpsons, Malcom in the Middle, and a few other shows I flipped through.
