A day of work and play.

I planned on getting up and having breakfast, then going to the store for some pop. Instead I got up seven minutes before I was supposed to be at work. I got there with no time to spare.

I spent the whole day in control. I worked with Jeremy. He had to do all the rounds, the bookings, and visiting. He was pretty busy. On the other hand I sat there doing hardly anything. I did answer several phone calls and got a bunch of doors.

At about one-thirty pm a calls goes out for a possible death then they said it was a suicide death. I was mad. I am the on-call coroner this weekend. It turned out that I had to work in the jail so for eight hours I was not on call and that is when the death happened. I tried to find coverage for me at the jail. I was not able to get a hold of anyone. So I was not able to go. This would have been a good learning opportunity for me. It would have been my first hanging death.

After I got off at the jail, I went to the store to get some groceries. I wanted to cook hamburgers for dinner. I got hamburger, sauces, tater-tots, and a few other items from the store. I went home and unpacked the car. I got the groceries put away.

I started to cook. It was good. I deep fried the tater-tots and grilled the hamburgers. I don't have a vent over my stove. So the house filled with smoke. I had to open the door to help it air out.

After dinner I rode in the Back Seven. When I got up there I saw six or seven deer in the middle of the field and then there were four or five pheasants that I found as well. Hunters would have drooled.

I went to get my car and drove to my office. I checked my e-mail and checked out the basketball brackets that I am in. I am number twelve out of more than two-hundred. I still have a chance to get top three.

Then I went home did the dishes and watched TV. King of the Hill, The Simpsons, and Malcolm in the Middle were on. I watched those before heading to bed.

After getting to sleep for about thirty minutes I got a call from Joe. He said that when I come out to Bellingham I can go on a ride with him. So I will be doing that this weekend.
