Movie night at my house.

It has been a while since I have stayed up for more than twenty-four straight hours but that was my day today. I started by actually getting up at eleven-thirty pm last night. I had to work in the jail. I am still a gimp so I worked Control the whole time. I found a website called stupidvideos.com. There is some really funny stuff there. My partner and I spent a while viewing the video's there. At seven o'clock I was relieved and I went to IS. I had to work ten hours there. That made for a total of seventeen hours of work for the day. It was a slow day for the most part.

I took an hour long lunch to work on a laptop computer. Dan came from Pullman to help me with it. We replaced a motherboard. It took a little under an hour to do it. It was pretty cool. One thing I have found is that laptops have a lot of really small parts.

I spent much of the day helping people in the sheriff's office getting computer problems solved. After six o'clock I left the office and headed to the store. I got some beer and food. I went home and cleaned the house a little bit. I got a piece from my furniture collection into my TV room so Russell would have a place to sit.

He was going to come over and we were going to watch some movies. I invited Tom to come over as well. He said he had some other stuff going on but he would call when he was done to see if we were still doing stuff. Russell showed up at about seven. I noticed he did not have a pizza like we talked about. So we ordered one from Bulldog. We went to pick it up. We had pizza and beer.

I let him choose what movie to watch. He wanted to watch Beautiful Thing. It is about two boys coming of age. One lives with his mom and other lives with his abusive dad and brother. They start to get romantically involved. It ends with them dancing together in front of the whole apartment complex they live in. It is a very sweet movie. Russell liked it. Then we watched LA Confidential. During that movie Tom called. We were still watching the movie. So he came over and watched it with us. LA Confidential was nearly over. Tom got to my house. I offered him some beer. We watched one more movie. We spent most of the time making fun of it.

By this time I was really starting to get tired. It was about one-thirty in the morning. Russell and Tom both took off and I watched the Family Guy at two o'clock am. I finally was ready to sleep. It had been twenty-seven hours that I was up. I went in and went to sleep.
