It is rare for me to have a sucky day

Today was sort of a bummer. After writing my blog about the government and their power they have over our lives, I got an e-mail from my chief at the Pullman fire department. There is a room at one of the stations that I was going to be able to move in to. We talked about it last week. Then I got an e-mail saying that the plans have changed and I will not be moving in. I have been in e-mail communication with him over this. Well needless to say I am a little on the upset side over this.

So, I am down because I am thinking about the future of my freedoms and liberties, and then I am told I don't get to move into the station. Things were going from bad to worse. Plus I have been dealing with a computer company. I am sub-contracting for them. I am very upset at their lack of communication. I have only been with them for about one week, but they do not respond to my e-mails. However, they will send me e-mails all the time telling me to update the ETA of the job and close the job. What is worse is many times they send out the e-mail AFTER I already did what they were requesting, so it is a waste of e-mail. It is beginning to really anger me, that I can not get them to answer my questions and then they are always sending these pointless e-mails. Just answer my damn questions and life will be good. It feels good to vent sometimes.

So other than that, how is life going? The day did get better. We had fire training tonight. We were discussing Sick/Not Sick. It is a pretty simple idea. It is a quick way to categorize someone as needed quick help or someone who you have a little extra time to work with.

After training I went to my house and watched some TV. There was not a lot on until Third Watch came on. It was an episode I had seen before, but it was good to watch. I really like that show.
