What a nice sleep.

I did not sleep solid straight through, but I did sleep until eleven am. That was nice. I came down stairs and watched two episodes of Deadwood. Bill asked if I would help him with the lawn. I told him I would. I figure because I am living at home for free and they are feeding me I should help out where I can. I went out and used the weedeater. We have about an acre and a half of property. There is a lot of ground to weedeat. I grabbed a dip and went outside. It was so hot. I was sweating bullets. After I was done with that I came in and got some water before getting the push mower to do the parts of the lawn that the riding mower cannot get to. I pushed it from the far end of the property to the near side. The thing would not start. I look. It is totally bone dry. I had no gas. I had gas in there last time I used it, so I assume there is a leak. I pushed it back to the shop and filled it up. Then I mowed the parts I needed to get done. When I put the mower back I got out my old motorcycle.

It is a nineteen-eight Suzuki DS-Eighty. It is about three feet tall. I got the thing when I was eight years old. I have had it since it was brand new. I took it out and rode on the streets like I use to when I first moved to this house in nineteen-eighty-seven. It is fun to get out there and ride the streets. After riding it for a while Bill asked if I would use the leaf blower and blow off the driveway. We have a long driveway. So it took quite a while to get it taken care of. It really looked nice when I was done.

I went up to my room and got online. Justin IM'ed me and said "Busted". He has seen a photo that I posted and did some sleuthing. He figured me out. So we chatted about it for a little while. I told him that Lobo would be coming back to G-Shack. I also told him Instinct is taking a trip to Florida. So he is going to be cool about everything.

I took off for my game. I had to get to the Fairwood area to play. I also had to go to the Renton Rec Center and get the scorebook. While en route there I got a phone call from Justin. It was so fun talking to him. He is from Alabama. I can say he is the only guy that I know from there. He sounded older than seventeen. Had that been the only time I had talk to him and I didn't know his age I would have put him in his twenties at least. He has a deeper voice, but it sounds very soothing to talk to. You can tell he a "manly man". There is nothing feminine about him in the slightest. He smokes, he looks like he could kick your ass, and he actually can. He has a bit of a southern accent. It is not all that bad really. But it so fun to hear him talk because of the accent, plus like I said it was soothing to hear him speak.

We talked for almost a half hour. He said he was drinking some girly drink. I flipped him crap about that. But I as just giving him crap. I got the field an we talked a bit longer. Finally I had to let him go because I had to warm up for the game. I hope I can talk to him again. Hopefully with more time to chat.

We got underway with the game. I started pitching. I was doing well. I got the ball across the plate nicely. We ended up beating the team in the first game pretty well. The wind was blowing so hard during the game we would have to stop playing because the infield dirt made it so no one could see at all. Everyone had to turn their back to the wind while that was happening. I used the wind to help me out. I would pitch the ball inside and it would blow the ball across the plate.

Then we play them again a second game against them. They realized that we have six guys and four girls. They pointed out we can't do that. So we played with only nine in the second game. It was a rough outing in the second inning. The pitcher couldn't get the ball across the plate. The guy playing left field. He could not play the position with the sun. He let three to four balls land in front of him because he was not shielding the sun from his eyes. We left them get up on use fourteen to four. In the middle of that inning the pitcher had me come out and pitch. We also switched up the outfielders. We started to make out. Then we went out and scored runs. We started to hold them from scoring runs from that point on. We kept hitting the ball and getting closer. I got my last at bat and I hit it over the outfielders head and made it to second base.

We went up fifteen to fourteen going in to the last inning. They got a couple of good hits. Then after a few runs scored I walked a girl. A guy came up to the plate and hit it over the outfielders head. The outfielder ran it down quick and threw it to the short stop who went home with it. As the guy and girl were coming around I was watching them cross the plate. The girl missed the plate and the guy stepped on it. I looked and the catcher and said "appeal that! She did not step on home before he did". She appealed and the umpire called him out for passing her up. Neither run counts. They were up on us by three runs. We went out there and batted. It was looking good. We were getting close. We had the tying run on third and the go-ahead run on at second. I was on deck and a girl came to the plate. I had a bad feeling. I was the on-deck batter when the last game ended. There were two outs. The girl hit the ball up the middle, but one of the outfielders got to it and made the third out. We lost by one run. So we were disappointed that we lost, but happy about he gutsy performance.

I went home chatted with Justin for a tiny bit before taking a shower. I had to go to my brothers house and take care of his pets and other things. I was going to go to Seattle to a bar called Changes for Rob's birthday. It was really late so I did not make it. I got some food from Jack in the Box and got to Jon's house. I watered the plants and played with the cats. I watched Deadwood. It was the season finale. I went home and watched some TV. Die Hard was on. They had the letterbox version, but once in a while it would get skewed. So Bruce Willis would look short and fat. I watched Almost Live! before finally going to bed.
