Leg up on System E-mail.

Today's big task was to make a stored procedure in SQL work for my system E-mail that needs to get sent out in conjunction with the secondary marketer changes I have made. I got it figured out to a point. I worked on getting the stored procedure set up. This was no easy task.

There are about forty fields with data I have to pull out of a table. This is taking a fair amount of time to declare everything, and then set up the select and putting the values into another variable. The reason it is taking so long is because I have to keep referencing other materials because the working name and the database name are different.

It got it finished and started to test it. I found that it was not working. So I had to take everything section by section and put it into the query analyzer and test it. I found the problems and fixed them one by one. As the day was coming to an end I had it completed. It sucked that it took so long to do that. I wanted to be done with it shortly after lunch. It was the end of the day and it was not totally complete.

I got home to pizza. That was good stuff. CSI was on as well. I really like that show and make sure I watch it.
