Matt got married

This morning I got up and helped Bill with some stuff on the Internet. After doing that I got ready for Matt's wedding. I got some slacks and a polo shirt on and drove to Issaquah.

I got to the church and signed in. I walked into the chapel and Matt was there. I walked up to him and said hi. He said give me a hug. So I went up and we hugged. Then I went to my seat.

The wedding started and it was neat to see someone who I have known for years getting married. Putting on the wedding ring and saying "I Do." Following the wedding I saw Mike R. from high school. We talked for quite a bit. Then we made our way to the reception in Redmond.

I had some food and talked with Mike and Matt a little bit. We talked about the old times and what we are doing these days. I had some cake when the cake was cut. Then I got a picture with Matt. Following that I left and went home.

I was at home for a while. I planned on going to see a movie or doing something. I got a call from Kyle. He said he is going to R Place. I thought about it and decided that maybe I would go down there too.

I drove down to Seattle and missed the exit I wanted to I drove around the surface streets much longer than I had hoped. It really sucked. Finally I found where I wanted to be and parked. I missed the time cut-off for cover charges by five minutes, so I had to pay that.

I went to the third floor and got a Coors Light. I drank that and did some people watching. I was also looking for Kyle. After about thirty minutes I found him. He was in the middle of a lot of people dancing. It was so crowded up there.

I went up to him when he came to get a drink. He said hi. Then we snaked our way through the crowd on to the dance floor. I was standing in the corner and Kyle was dancing with some of the girls he was with. A girl came up to me and asked me to dance. I at first said no. Then I finally did. We were dancing and I felt foolish because I don't know how to dance.

But I thought to myself "Dance like no one is watching." It is part of that whole Enjoy Your Life type of thing. We were into our second song and she noticed my ring finger on my left hand had a ring. She looked at me and said "You're not married are you?" I said no. Then we danced some more. She then said you don't have a girlfriend here who is going to get mad? I said no.

I was there for about three hours before leaving to go home. I had nothing going on on Sunday however I did not want to stay until closing time. On the way home I saw about six cops with different people pulled over.

I got home and talked to Kyle on the phone for a while before hitting the hay.
