Back Seven

I was up and ready to go nice and early despite my lack of sleep. I went to Colfax from Pullman Fire station thirty-two. I let Amber out and got ready to work in the jail again. This is a week without a day off. I will not see a day off until this Friday. School is right around the corner as well, so my summer is almost over. Once I get my home loan, I think that I will be able to jettison a job. We'll see.

I head into the jail and I am working with Harry and Brian. We do the typical things that are done on a Sunday. Squat. I moved people around. I just did the normal stuff. A guy is brought back from the jail library to his unit. A few minute later he hits the intercom button to tell us there is a few razors blades in the library that he found. I investigated their finding. I wrote up an incident report about the weapon in the jail. I don't think anything will come of it and that is frustrating.

After work I got Amber and we rode the four wheeler to the back seven (the seven and a half acres behind my house). We went there and played catch for a while. Then I took her to the fire station to see Ken. We watched Tommy Boy and History of the World Part I in honor of Gregory Hines who died this weekend. I got home and in bed by ten thirty!
