Doctor Rodriguez, Calling Doctor Rodriguez

Argh! Seven o'clock am comes early since I was only getting to bed at three hours before. I allowed myself to get an extra hour of sleep by being late. I showed up to the jail at about fifteen before nine. I stayed an extra hour as well, so I would have a full eight hour day.

Saturday in the jail was so dead. Brett brought in a movie and we watched that. I helped serve dinner and ate before I was out the door heading to Pullman for being on call at the fire department. I stopped by my house and let Amber go potty. I changed into my fire stuff and left for Pullman. I got to the station and I was dead tired. I was unable to keep my eyes open, but by that time it was only seven o'clock. So I fought it and headed to my business office to do some stuff on the computer there. I e-mailed David about Friday, and I e-mailed Brad and Mark about Friday. I talked to Mike73Coug from a chat room. He knows Scotty Horning and is going to pass a message for me.

I stopped at Dissmore's and saw the guy from My Office from last night and ValHalla from the other night. I wanted him to see me and see his reaction. But I was in a line pretty far from him and he was chatting with someone. I bought a pizza and some pop. I went to the station to cook it.

I turned on the oven to four-hundred degrees like the instructions say to do. But with this stove you have to hit a button that says "on". I thought I just had to adjust the temperature. So, in fifteen minutes when I came back the oven was still cold. So I readjusted the temperature and was about to press on, when a call came out for someone. Twiggy was at the station. I threw my pizza into the freezer and we left. We got to the scene and there were tons of cats and kitty's. There were some juvenile cats as well. They were everywhere. We helped the lady and then, we helped change the oxygen bottle on the ambulance. Then we got gas for rescue. We got back to the station and I was able to cook my pizza finally. I chowed for a bit. Watched a TV show and headed to bed at midnight. I did want to be in bed by ten o'clock, but the call did not allow that to happen.

Finally in bed sleeping, a call came in at one-thirty am. It was for chest pains. We got on scene and the paramedic attending on this call, Greg, asked if anyone needed a blood sugar. I said that I did. So he let me do it. It was cool. Now I am all signed off with my blood sugars.

We took the guy to the hospital and he was a pill while up there. He was insulting Dr. Rodriguez, me and anyone else who was around. I don't know what his problem is, but he seemed to have a chip on his shoulder and was mad at the world.

We got back to the station, logged the call in, just under one hour. And I was fast asleep.
