Ten-Six-Seven

Since I went to bed at about three thirty in the morning after working in the jail I decided to let myself sleep in on Thursday. It was a day off for me. I slept until about eleven and then got up and went to work. I was making up an hour that I came in late on Wednesday and I wanted to work a second hour to get off a bit early on Friday. At about noon Pete called about our two o'clock p.m. training. We moved it up to twelve thirty. We headed to Eddy's for some lunch and discussed the job of being a coroner. We took about an hour doing that, then headed back to Information Services to finish out my extra time.

I left work around three-thirty when home to play with Amber for a little while and get ready to work at Pullman fire. I headed to Pullman and called Russell about going to Moscow for a little while. We headed to Radio Shack and Hastings. I was checking out digital recorders. I need it for the job of coroner to record what is happening. I saw one I liked but I am not sure if the price is right. While in the store we saw a ten-six-seven enter. We both agreed to that assessment.

At Hastings we were checking out the magazine collection. To my surprise they have Instinct magazine again. Too late though, I now have a subscription to it. I looked at Axim magazine. Some good stuff in there. Russell was checking out some of the shirts they have. One is a Wally World shirt he really wanted. He planned on going back to his apartment and getting his gift certificates and heading back and getting the shirt.

We went to Safeway in Pullman. It is going to close its doors forever on Friday at six p.m. They built a brand new store that is twice the size of the old one. They will open that up on Saturday. I got some teriyaki chicken on steamed rice. It was very good.

Russell and I went to the fire station to watch the Skulls. The Skulls stars Paul Walker! So, that was a worth while movie to watch. I gave Russell a ride home and then went back to the fire station to watch some more TV. I watched the Family Guy and then headed to bed. At about three o'clock this morning a call came in for someone with chest pains.

We drove code to the scene, and of course no traffic was in the way at that hour. What was cool was the way the opticom would hit off the big green traffic signs. The opticom is a strobe light that will hit the sensors on traffic lights and give the direction that we are going a green light. Those are cool devices.
