Two Delta's, you only told us about one.

I got up Saturday and got underway to Pullman for our Open House at the Fire Station. I helped get the stuff set up. Lynn and Don were cooking breakfast for everyone. Lynn put cream cheese in the eggs. They were very good.

The ladder was up, so I climbed it. When I got to the top I looked around. It is a pretty neat view from up there. Afterwards I helped to break things down. Michael and I went to the fire tower to lock up the gate. There was a guy delivering two vans for us to practice extrication training on.

We got back to the station and I was dirty. I wanted to get a new shirt. But it was in Colfax. So I asked Chuck if he would cover for me if I did not make it back on time. He said he would. I have about one and a half hours. I got to Colfax. I got my shirt, and then I headed to Rosauers for a hamburger for lunch. I ate it at the fire station with Tim who was covering for Carl. Just as I finished the hamburger a call came in for a Delta response in Steptoe. I called the station to find out if Chuck would cover for me longer since I would not be back by six o'clock. But I found out that they were gone on a huge car accident at Airport road on SR two-seventy.

We took off in the ambulance to Steptoe when dispatch advised us of two patients. One was hemorrhaging on his hand and had difficulty breathing. He was a Delta response. The other one was unconscious. He was a Delta. So, I asked for a second ambulance. We got on scene and I dealt with the guy who was bleeding from the hand. We transported him to the hospital.

Went we left the hospital I high tailed it to Pullman. I got there and tried to find out what the accident was all about. I mentioned that it sucked that I missed it. Bryan said, that I went on a call with Colfax. And I said I had. Chuck said he thought he heard my voice, and then knew it was me by the way I said "received." The car accident was a black car with a drunk passing other cars going fast. Hit a guy on a Harley. Threw him and almost killed him (Turns out he did die. Three other cars were involved. Pretty bad one.

Brandon and I hung out at the station for a while. We watched Old School and then got Animal House. We also got a shake from Cougar Country. While there I saw Theresa from the task force. She was with her son. Ten-six-nine (too young).

After Animal House was over Brandon left and I watched TV alone. Bryan came out. He sat on the couch and watched TV. It was quiet. I did not talk to him and he did not talk to me. I was getting ready to go, so I slid the remote control over to him on the coffee table. I got up and left.
