Who was Billy the Kid

This morning did not go well for me. I got up late. I was into work a little before nine o'clock am. I was only here for about thirty minutes before I had to leave for class. It started at ten thirty. I had to get my truck into Neill Motors to get some warranty work done on it.

I got to class and it seems like it will be a decent class. The professor seems nice. She sort of reminds me of Mary Poppins. Another thing is she wears these large glasses and has her hair tightly made up into a bun. It reminds me of all those movies where a teacher looks like that, then takes the glasses off and undoes her hair. They she turns out to be a real hot chic.

After class was done Russell called me. I talked to him all the way back to Colfax. He invited me over to see his new apartment. We talked about helping Ryan get a drivers license as well.

I went to work. I had to get a monitor delivered. Setup another monitor for someone else in the Auditor's office. Then I went to the Prosecutor's office. I had to find out how something was fixed so I could do it in the future. Then I worked on changing some of the e-mail files around for people. We had someone leave the PA's office and some of the other people switched offices.

While I was doing that I got a call from Sharon. She wanted me to come to the Auditor's office to talk to someone who had a medical emergency. The person did not want to get any medical attention. I talked to the person for a few minutes. I was able to get the person to agree to have the Colfax EMT's come and look at her. I helped the EMT's when they got on scene. I did a BP and BS check. The BS was low. The person agreed to go to the hospital by POV. But as we were taking the person to the POV the person needed to sit down again. We then said it would be best to go by ambulance. The person agreed. I ran across the street and got the ambulance. We loaded the person up and transported her to the hospital.

When we were done I went back to the IS building and worked until six-forty-five pm. I walked across the street and went to my fire training. It was a board and business meeting. When that was done I went home and took measurements of my basement. I laid it out on a piece of paper and drew in some ideas of how to finish the basement. My initial cost for lumber and sheetrock will be nearly four hundred dollars.

While I was online today I saw that the Billy The Kid case was going to be reopened. They want to exhume the body of Billy The Kid's mom and then test the DNA versus that of Brushy Bill Roberts who claimed to be Billy The Kid back in the fifty's. He claimed that he was not killed and that in fact Pat Garrett helped him escape. The two of them killed a drunk. More or less shot his face off. That way you could not see that it wasn't Billy The Kid. What is interesting is that Lincoln County New Mexico has a silhouette of Pat Garrett on their Sheriff's Office patches. If the story is correct, then Pat Garrett is a murder. I think that LCSO would look at replacing their patches after that.
