Monthly Haz-Mat Training.

I woke up this morning sans pain! Well that is not one hundred percent correct; I had some pain about two in the morning. My walking boot was creating a pressure point and it was causing enough pain for me to wake up. So, I opted to fix it. I went to sleep again and I was fine.

I made it to the sheriff's office for the first time after my surgery. They have created a new report writing room. A new HP LaserJet Forty-Six-Hundred DN came in today. I went to the SO to get it hooked up and printing. It is pretty sweet.

A little after five I headed back to the my office to get ready to head to Pullman for Haz-Mat training. I am not going to be able to do anything other than what can be done sitting down. We talked about a few things that dealt with the team and some of our new gizmos and gadgets.

We went to the bay of the fire station and worked on the Ten-Step test and using the Sense-IR. I took off about seven-thirty pm to head home. I wanted to get some stuff done around the house. I am a gimp now so doing anything takes a lot of extra work. I need to get a Trinitron monitor, which are heavy, into my den. I also need to get my nineteen inch TV/VCR into the den. I had to use something on the floor and push them in, crawling on my hands and knees.

I got my laptop with the broken LCD into a docking station and hooked to a monitor. I was not able to hook the VCR up to it. I have wanted to do video editing for a long time. So, I gave up on that and went into my living room and sat down and enjoyed a little relaxing time with Amber and then I was off to bed.
