In the playoffs

After getting home from Walla Walla as late as I did, I planned on sleeping in as long as I could. I had to get up to work on a project in the afternoon, but I really did want to sleep in. At about ten-thirty am I got a call from Ron about the softball game this evening. He said he would not be able to be there. I did not sleep much more from that point and I got going on the day.

I headed to Pullman to meet with my partner in the computer lab. We had to get a PowerPoint presentation built for Tuesday's English class. We spent about two hours putting it all together. It is about twenty slides long. After we were done Meredith and Nick came into the lab. I hung out for a while chatting with them.

I went to my office and got ready for some softball. We had our first playoff game against the Red Roosters. We lost by one run earlier in the season to them. The score of that game was four to three. I knew we would do better this time. I picked up Ryan and we went to Dissmores.

Then we went to the field. I was ready to go, I had the line up made and we took the field. We had the home field advantage. I was pitching and I was on fire. They were not hitting against us. I faced only one more batter than the minimum needed. We let four guys on base. We turned three double plays, and the one guy who was on base we did not get out remained at first base. No one made it safely to second base. We scored ten runs. They scored zero. We had an easy time beating them.

After the game I went to Russell's and we watched QaF. It was the season premiere. While that was on Russell picked up Nick. It was good to see Nick. He is a good kid. I hung out there until almost three o'clock in the morning before going home.
