It's official. This is the end.

Today is the day I was going to find out if Bev would be able to get me more money to stay or if I would be gone. The day was pretty normal. Only Bev and I knew about it to this point. The others in IS and in the County were in the dark. I got my normal things done. I also got to school as well. At the end of business I was called into Bev's office. We talked about it and she said they were not able to do anything. That means I am done with Whitman County.

We had a board and business meeting at Colfax Fire. I told Carl that I am going to be moving to Seattle. I asked if he would be willing to let me continue to work Colfax Fire when I come to town. He said I could. I also asked him if he would call Eastside Fire and Rescue to see if I could join them for training to keep up my EMT skills. He said he would do so.

I talked to Jon for a while about the job opportunity as well. He wanted to know what my decision was going to be.
