New change for the Secondary Marketer

There was one thing about the Secondary Marketer changes I did not want to touch and it came down today that I had to do so. They wanted to be able to track a default contact for Secondary Marketer who would get an auto-generated E-mail should a loan request be locked. That person would only get the E-mail if that loan app did not have a specifically named Secondary Marketer.

So I ended up sifting through everything. I ended up changing three ASP pages, seven stored procedures, a change to the database. All that work to add a single check box. A lot of the time I spent working on logic for a smart system to know that you can only have one secondary marketer checked at one time. With the data I had at hand I was trying to make it work. My logic was flawed for a while. Finally I sat back and drew some stuff out and realized where my error was. I got it corrected and all the changes checked into the source control program.

I went home and we had dinner right after I got there. I watched Quintuplets. There is a character on the show, Pierce, who is a big ten-six-seven. The way they have him act in the show is so funny. He plays the part very well.

I also watched the new SouthPark and CSI:NY.

I swear I have to get a job back in Pullman. I am so inactive around here. I work, sleep, hang out on the net, and watch TV. I don't do the things I usually do back in Pullman. I feel so lazy right now. I use to run from job to job and place to place getting stuff done.

I also got a call tonight from a customer from a Dell warranty job Lobo did. It turns out the hard drive needed to be installed and the system recovery CD's needed to be run. The harddrive ended up being the F: drive and not the C: drive. So I talked to Dell about it. They said if there was an external flash card reader or a printer with a flash card reader plugged in while installing the OS, it would make itself the C: drive and everything else is something else.

So I will have to have a tech go back out and fix that. At the same time I found out the other day that SmarTech is no longer doing the Dell Warranty work for BancTech in Washington. That is why it was so long since our last job. They said to call BancTech to see if we could continue doing the Dell work.

I called BancTech this morning and got in touch with the right guy. He said to send an E-mail to him about it. I told him about the area and how there are no near by cities in Washington to Pullman. I will not hear anything more until Monday. I really need to keep this contract. It was actually making me some money.
