Christmas Eve Two Thousand and Three.

Christmas Eve. What a wonderful day. It is a half day for me. But since I am making up time it will be more than a half day for me. I went to the assessor’s office and the commissioner’s office. I spent time waiting for the staff meeting the commissioners were having to get over, so I hung out longer in the assessor's office. Shawn, Bryson and I played a few hands of Texas Hold'em to show Bryson how to play them.

I went into the commissioner's office and talked to Jerry who was having the printer problem. I fix it. On my way out Greg and Jerry stopped me. Wished me a Merry Christmas and then Jerry said since I worked so hard all year he was going to give me tomorrow off. Then Greg said I will do you one better I will give you this afternoon off. Of course those are holiday days so I get them off, however they were making a joke about it. It was pretty funny.

After work I made a couple audio CD's. I went to the store and got some dog food and cat food. I then headed home and worked on the trench a little bit more. I had to get ready to be on call at Pullman fire so I showered and got dressed and drove to Pullman. Since no one was staying at the station I chose to stay the night there. I was there watching some TV when a call came out. It was a Delta call but we were downgraded pretty quickly. After the call Dan and I stayed at the station and watched the Italian Job with Mark Wahlberg (HOT!). Following that we watched Basic with John Travolta and Samuel L Jackson. Dan left and I went to bed.
