Off light duty!

I got a note from my doctor saying I am now off "light duty". I took it to the fire station to show them. Within moments of getting there the tones go off for a grass fire. The chief asked if I wanted to go. I said I did. So away we went. North out of Colfax at the speed of about forty miles per hour. We never found the fire. So we went back and I went back to work.

I had spent a fair amount of the day working on trying to recover files that just disappeared. They were not deleted (supposedly). They are just gone. I was not able to find them.

I went to work at the jail at six o'clock pm. Not a lot went on. It was quiet and uneventful. I got a can of chew because that is the time I like to have a dip. But I am going to leave it at home tomorrow and only have it once in a while. The rest of the time I will stick to my toothpicks or straws for something to chew on.
