Peterman!

Today was a day you can say I have been waiting for to happen for the last two years. The man who I called my best friend, Peter, and I were going to hang out. I was going to head up to his place in Pullman when I got up at about ten am. However while waiting for my alarm clock to go off we got a medical call in Colfax. That was about four am. So I went on that. I missed out on some sleep I was looking forward to having.

I went to sleep at about six am and slept for another four hours. Then I got up and got ready to go. I loaded my truck and got some breakfast. Then I called Peter. I was worried he was going to do what he has done to me over the last two years. The few times he did agree to do something with me he would not show or back out at the last minute. I was expecting to call him up and not get a hold of him.

To my happy surprise he answered. So I got driving to Pullman. I got to Waller hall. There was a lot of traffic because school starts in the morning. I got out of my truck and walked across the street. I went to the door and I pulled out my phone to call Peter. Then the door opened. It was Peter letting me in. He greeted me. I was a little shy at first when I saw him.

We went into his room and he invited me to have a seat. We started to talk about things. I wanted to ask him why he spent two year avoiding me. I have covered a few things in my blog about Peter and some of my interactions or the lack thereof. He was my one and only best friend and he all of a sudden wanted nothing to do with me. I decided that I would not go there today. I have an idea of how I am going to bring it up. I am going to tell him how hard it was on me to come out to him and relive that a little bit. Then I will move in the direction that will get him to answer my question.

We talked about politics, sports, his trip to Europe, and other things in life. It was like we have not missed a beat, but the whole time I was wondering how long this would last. He needed to go to WalMart and invited me to go. We went over there. There were a ton of students. In a line next to us there were three guys who were from some frat. There is no doubt about that. The first one was about six-foot-three. He had blonde hair and really awesome blue eyes. He was a ten-six-seven. Too bad we were not there longer.

We went to his place again and we started to talk about more of the same stuff. We were really getting back together again. Nothing is planned for the future, but I think things are going well between us. I left sort of suddenly because I was illegally parked and the parking enforcement was starting to give out tickets.

So I left to go back to Seattle. The trip was okay but it was slow going in the pass. When I got home I spent time posting messages on the forum I hang out on. I also sent E-mail out to the softball team about the upcoming season. I watched Harvey Birdman before I finally retired to be.
