Coroners meeting

With my alarm clock waking me up on the weekend I was up and getting ready for the coroners meeting at ten am. I went to Rosauers and got some breakfast. Then I stopped in at the Sheriff's Office. Paul and Scott were there. I chatted with both of them. Scott said he has an application in with the city of Renton to work as a probation officer there. It would be cool if he got the job.

I helped Pete get some equipment downstairs into the coroners office. We started our meeting with some food and idle conversation. We were going to go over blood spatter. We chose to hold off on that. We went over some more photos of the roll over car accident that threw the guy out of the car and killed him.

Then we went over some pictures of the car accident on two-seventy that killed three college students a few years ago. We talked about the scene and the photos. We talked about the injuries. It was noted that two of the people killed were in the backseat of the car. The guys arm was still around his girl friend. It was a devastating accident. Cars were burnt. One car, a very large car, was demolished. What was amazing is that some of the injuries were minor and some were instantly fatal. It is amazing how a few feet made the difference between life and death.

We got our schedules set up for the month of December and Pete gave us an additional bag to store some of our stuff in. That is good because I was out of space in the bag I have.

I went home packed my truck and headed out. I had to go to Seattle as the weekend had come to an end.
