Christmas celebration with the extended family
I did not have to work today because it is a holiday to make up for Christmas being on Saturday. I slept in to a point. My cold usually wakes me up sort of early due to coughing.
I started the day by sitting around the house. I got my gift wrapped that I bought for Logan. It was ready to go for the Christmas party tonight. I spent most of the day watching TV and chatting on the computer.
The party started at about five-thirty at Jon's house. I went down there and then Jon and I went to get the food he ordered from a Chinese food restaurant. There was a lot of stuff. There were nine large pans full of different kinds of food.
We took them back to Jon's and we all ate. We spent about half an hour eating and talking at the table. Then people made their way into the living room. We all talked about the governor's race and politics before we opened our presents. I got a DVD set of the Simpson's volume four. I also got a gift card for Home Depot.
After the presents we hung out a little tiny bit more. Then I left and went home. I got out of the nice clothes and went to Ryan's house. Ryan's brother Keith, a ten-six-seven, opened the door. I smiled and said hello to him. Then I went up stairs. Ryan's parents, Ryan, and I played Hand and Foot. We played three rounds. Ryan and I won two of them. It was about three am and I needed to get home to go to bed. I had the ride along with Joe on Saturday night and I wanted to get some sleep for it. They wanted to play some more, but I couldn't. Each game takes about one hour to play.
