MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I was up and heading to Colfax this morning since I was working at the jail. I had to put a full eight hours in. But I was getting holiday pay for it. I got a few things completed. I ran the booking stats. I got a few other computer issues taken care of.

I called my mom and talked to her about Christmas and a few other things. I told her about the sewer problems. We talked for about twenty minutes.

When I was off work I went home and changed into nice clothes and headed to John's house. I was going to have Christmas dinner with John, Meg, and Elijah. It was a very nice meal with mashed potatoes, prime rib, cheese rolls. It was very good. I hung out most of the evening watching some football and chatting with everyone.

Then John broke out his new poker chips. We played cards for a while. At one point I was down about twenty five dollars. Then my fortunes turned and John started to lose. I ended up winning twenty-seven dollars and fifty cents. Meg game me some cookies and rice crispy treats and I headed home.

It was a nice Christmas for me. It was nice to have friends to celebrate it with me.
