Training at Station Thirty-Four

I got up this morning without an alarm clock. I decided I was going to do something about my den. First thing I did was get my desk put together. Then I took the legs off my metal desk and moved it into my den. At that time a medical call came out. I was not too motivated to get the work done at the house so I went on it. I did not make truck. I stayed at the station and chatted with the others. Then Ken got back. We watched the end of Son In Law and then I headed home to get to work on the den.

I mapped out the room on graph paper and tried to figure out where I wanted to put everything. After moving the things around a little bit, I finally decided on an arrangement. So, I started to move in the file cabinets and white book shelves. I sat down at my work desk and started to go through the file cabinets. I only got through one drawer of the file cabinet. It was all my bills and statements from ninety-seven to ninety-nine. I pulled all the bills and statements from the rest of the envelope. I shredded the personal data and threw the rest away.

I have a bunch more to go. Plus I will do that for all the file cabinets. Then I will do the same for the boxes of books and magazines I have. I will have to choose how to set all those things up.

At about five thirty I left my house for Pullman. I was going to play cards tonight with John and Dan. We were meeting at "station thirty-four for training". Which means meeting at my office to play cards.

I did pretty well. In fact my bag of money is so full I am worried about it splitting down the side. I got home and tossed and turned until after midnight which made me mad since I was trying to get a good night sleep.
